Inclusive Instructional Practices: Course Design, Implementation, and Discourse

As national efforts strive to make STEM more inclusive, it is important identify instructional practices that maximize effective learning for all and provide students from different demographic educational backgrounds equal opportunities excel. Here, we present a guideline inclusive based on findings 1) cognitive psychology about memory, 2) social creating discourse, 3) discipline-based education research (DBER) in higher education. Our aim promote equity across by providing researchers instructors fields with concrete suggestions implementing their courses.
